Stations 221 and 225 were alerted for a smell of gas in a residential structure. 221 Squad arrived on scene with LT2 establishing N Wheeler command. Crews checked the residence and found a definite odor in the residence, gas company was requested and were notified by County 911 Communications. Upon further investigation by the Squad crew it was found to be a lawn mower leaking fuel in an enclosed sunroom in the rear of the residence by the kitchen area, producing the gas odor. Crew removed the unit from the sunroom to the backyard of the residence and started PPV at the front door. The gas company was cancelled by command and the residence was vented of the odor. Homeowner was advised to clean out the sunroom to remove any further gas smell that may still be there, command was then terminated and all 221 and 225 equipment returned in service without incident.
