Brushton Ave – Structure Fire

Stations 221, 225, 227, 222 and 137 RIT were alerted shortly before noon, for a reported dwelling fire on Brushton Ave. 221 Wagon went in service quickly and upon arrival, 221 Lieutenant reported a 3 Story Dwelling, smoke showing from the Delta Side. The Wagon crew went to work, stretching an 1 3/4 attack line and advancing to the 3rd Division and handling primary search. 221 Chief arrived shortly after, establishing Brushton Command. 227 Truck arrived on scene on the Alpha Side with crews assisting in opening up. 137 RIT arrived and set up on Side A in the front yard and laddering the building. 222 Engine laid the supply line into 221 Wagon. 224 Engine was requested to assist with a secondary water supply. 223 Engine assisted with Salvage. 302 Service arrived on scene for air supply and additional man power. 200 Rehab was on scene and set up the rehab with M384 & 386. 516FM was on scene for the investigation. Companies 285 and 196 were placed on stand by in their stations, while crews operated on scene. Crews operated on the scene for about 2 hours before returning into service. No injuries reported and The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents. Serve Pro was notified for Board Up Service.
